Happy birthday Mom and Dad! I made you a german chocolate cake. I’ve never done this before, it was the messiest cake I’ve ever made, and the directions were all out of order and scary. Once upon a time I got an A in chef prep and I could do a perfect shell icing, but high school was about 5 years ago now… It’s not THAT beautiful and it may not be THAT delicious, but you better enjoy it.
